Why MIGA Equine
The Ultimate Equine Fencing Solution — every design decision in the MigaRail system follows one brief: build the best horse fence on the market.
Our brand promise
Designed for DIY or contractor installation. No special tools, no welding, no complex hardware. The system goes up quickly and correctly the first time.
UV-stabilised polymer, high-tensile steel core, zero-maintenance finish. A MigaRail fence looks the same in year ten as it did on day one.
Flex-before-break composite behaviour, smooth surface with no sharp edges, and no exposed metal. Designed around how horses actually move and respond.
4,200 lbs break strength, integrated electric capability, and visible white or brown rail that horses respect and avoid — before contact ever happens.
About MIGA Equine
MIGA Equine was founded on a straightforward observation: traditional horse fencing wasn't built for horses. Timber splits and splinters. Wire rusts and breaks under impact. PVC fades and degrades. None of these materials were ever engineered with the specific behaviour, energy, and vulnerability of horses in mind.
Our mission was to build a complete fencing system that addressed every one of those failure points simultaneously — not as separate product improvements, but as a single, integrated material solution. The result is the MigaRail composite: a three-layer system combining a high-tensile steel core, a graphene conductive layer, and a UV-stabilised PE polymer shell.
We supply horse farms, training facilities, private paddocks, and large thoroughbred properties across the region. Every installation is backed by a system designed from first principles for the demands of equine environments — not adapted from a product made for something else.

Company overview — MIGA Equine
Easy to Install
MigaRail is designed for straightforward installation by contractors or experienced property owners. The system logic is consistent across all configurations — once you understand a straight run, every corner and junction follows the same approach.
Standard post spacing is 2.4 m to 3.6 m depending on terrain. Corner and end posts require concrete setting.
Drive or concrete-in line posts. Set corner and strainer posts with H-brace or block brace.
Snap line post clips onto posts at the required rail heights. No tools required.
Thread rail through clips, attach end brackets at each run end, and strain to correct tension with the strainer tool.

Built to Last
Each layer in the MigaRail composite was selected for a specific job. Together, they deliver durability that no single material could achieve.
The outer shell is manufactured from high-density polyethylene with UV stabilisers compounded directly into the material. Colour-fastness and structural integrity remain consistent through prolonged outdoor exposure.
A 12.5-gauge high-tensile steel wire core delivers a minimum break strength of 4,200 lbs. The steel provides structural backbone while the polymer shell absorbs impact — a combination neither material achieves independently.
The graphene additive dispersed through the rail's intermediate layer creates a reliable conductive path without a separate conductor. The rail itself functions as an electric fence element.

Horse-Friendly
When a horse hits a MigaRail fence at force, the rail flexes and absorbs that energy — then returns to its original form. There are no shards, no sharp wire ends, no splintering timber. The smooth polymer surface means contact doesn't cause abrasion or laceration.
The visible rail profile — white or brown, straight, consistent — creates a clear visual boundary. Horses learn to respect it before they test it.
